What is ketosis? The metabolic state of using ketones for energy

Become a fat burner for optimal health

W.I.P. more Coming Soon

I believe the benefits of nutritional Ketosis out weight the Standard American Diet in the prevention and correction of insulin resistance, obesity, cancer, diabetes, alzheimer’s, autoimmune disease , fertility, depression, weight loss, all the while healing your body, creating longevity and producing a great quality of life. Your body prefers to use ketones as its fuel source over glucose. Paleo is a close second if blood sugar dysregulation is not an issue, due to the higher protein and starch content. Whole food is always the best choice.

SPOILER ALERT: There is not one human requirement for carbohydrates at all.

There is no one size fits all Ketogenic formula for everyone. Everyone’s body uses fats, proteins and carbohydrates in the same way, however, your unique symptoms of dysregulation will need to be addressed when deciding what nutrients your body needs the most within the Ketogenic platform.

CASE EXAMPLE: If you change your current diet to lchf, and start to get a stomach ache, then your body has revealed you may need gallbladder support. It may have also revealed chronic inflammation from eating the wrong kinds of fats such as vegetable oils. The Ketogenic/Banting way of eating did not cause a gallbladder issue it REVEALED a gallbladder issue that in turn may have lead to malabsorption of fat soluble vitamins A,E,K, and D. This paints a cause and effect picture of how the body reveals how we can assist in healing ourselves. Becoming a fat burner by Ketosis can absolutely be effective for those without a gallbladder as well. Fat is not a root cause of gallbladder issues. Gallbladder issues are the result of dysregulation in the digestive process further north on your body. Think mouth to colon. Digestion is a north to south process.

The Ketogenic or Banting way of eating is not required for the Nutritional Therapy Program. I promote progress not perfection.
